A non-trivial way to visualize the concept of the clock is the Jewish Clock, a 24-hour clock which is based on the idea that certain daily deadlines were defined as portions of the day. The idea is that we have a limited amount of time, and that we should use the time well. For example, the law of the day states that the latest time one can pray the morning prayer, Shacharit, is when a third of the day has passed, or in other words, 4 out of the 12 hours of the day have passed.
In this way, the clock is a helpful tool for us to remember the important events which we should pay attention to.
